Designing a serene urban escape involved connecting three small apartments into one cohesive space that features a family entertainment area and a private master suite. Rebecca Spivak’s canvas spans across the transitional entry space offering directional cues to the living area which is connected to the guest suite. The carefully crafted cabinetry is highlighted by a modern collection of 20th century furniture from masters such as Leleu, Sornay, Borsani and Tura highlighting the Royere table under the sparkling Raak pendants. A glass wall acts as an accent between the dining and the master bedroom by allowing natural daylight to gently flow between the spaces during the day. Gems from the studios of Prouve and Fontana Arte compliment the beautiful European ash wood ceiling and walls in the master bedroom providing warmth against the layering of glass walls surrounding the master bath area.
