Area: 1900 SF renovation+ 2100 SF addition

The new construction of a rooftop penthouse in a postwar riverside building consisted of adding 2100 SF of additional space to an existing recreation room. The spaces radiate from a light filled circulation spine to organize generous family entertainment areas from the private bedroom suites and staff area. Each space has the unique feature of access to an outdoor garden area. The living, dining, family lounge, eat-in kitchen and outdoor cooking and dining areas gently flow from one to another. The beautiful selection of woods used throughout the house provide warmth alongside the elegant and simple lines found in the detailing of the architectural features.
